Justin Norman, Founder & CEO

 

        Justin Norman is a native Washingtonian who studied mechanical engineering at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD and Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA. He started doing flooring with Prescott Floors as a summer job in between his time away at school. After college he returned home and worked for several construction and remodeling companies. He learned various trades including floor technician skills from Quality Floors, general carpentry from Bennett’s Nursery, framing and trim from Moss Construction, and cabinet and kitchen remodeling from Ortiz Construction. Justin founded Perfection Flooring in 2005 and he eventually expanded to various forms of home remodeling.

      By 2010 the company had outgrown the name Perfection Flooring and changed its name to The Pivot Company to better represent the wide array of work performed by the group. He has remained steadfast and has built a loyal customer base.The Pivot Company currently employs two crews consisting of five dedicated carpenters and tradesman as well as a strong network of subcontractors and professionals that believe in and represent the company’s core values.
